Postcards from Paradise: 15 Photos That’ll Make You Jump on a Plane to Cancun

Central America, Mexico, Slider

As we all know, Mexico lies within close proximity to Texas. And it’s on my list of places I want to visit in my twenties. So when plane tickets to my neighboring country went on sale, how could I say no?

Not wanting to explore the area alone, I convinced my sister to join me in exploring Cancun. A week in paradise seemed to be just what the doctor ordered. And Cancun did not disappoint.

Here are some of my favorite photos of Cancun that will make you want to jump on a jet and zip off to the popular destination. Enjoy!

Will you look at that sunset? Anything this pretty belongs on a postcard!

This was the view from our Airbnb. We would walk out and be greeted with a hue of different blues and the inviting sea breeze. I wouldn’t mind flying back for a quick dip in the ocean!

Whale sharks. More details coming soon.

Home-made ceviche served to us in the middle of crystal clear waters. Hold the phone while I go wipe off my salivating mouth.

Yep. Still not sure the colors in the ocean were real.

Can’t go to Mexico without enjoying a margarita on the beach right?

Iguanas! Everywhere.

As was exploring the picturesque Tulum.

I don’t know about you, but Cancun sold me on being paradise on Earth. The only question is, when can I go back?

Awesome photos! I spent most of December in Playa del Carmen, which is like an hour from Cancun. It’s so beautiful on the Yucatán Peninsula and the diving was amazing. Can’t wait to return!

Me and my sister loved Playa del Carmen so much we went back. (Spent one day at the beach and came back two days later!) It’s such a beautiful and lovely little area! Next time I go I’m definitely staying there. 🙂
